My journey
My name is Marie, I'm 30 years old, and I'm a freelance illustrator, graphic designer, and designer. For the past six years, I've been using my creativity and expertise on a variety of projects, combining graphic design, illustration, and 3D modeling . My unconventional career path has allowed me to develop valuable versatility and a deep understanding of visual communication, enriched by a solid foundation in marketing and strategy.
My adventure began at Sciences Po Lyon, where I spent three years pursuing a multidisciplinary curriculum combining social and political sciences with a specialization in Arabic language and culture through the University Diploma on the Contemporary Arab World (DEMAC). This period nurtured my curiosity and broadened my horizons . During my third year, I traveled to Jordan, a pivotal experience that allowed me to deepen my understanding of this fascinating region. My stay culminated in a thesis entitled: "The Logic of Encampment in the Reception and Management of Syrian Refugees in Jordan." This work, blending geopolitical analysis and fieldwork, taught me to structure my thinking and delve into complex issues .
A health issue, however, interrupted my studies, forcing me to take a step back. This difficult time nevertheless allowed me to redefine my priorities and return to my lifelong passion: drawing . As a self-taught artist , I immersed myself in learning illustration and graphic design. Gradually, I developed technical expertise in software such as Adobe Creative Suite and 3D tools (Blender, UE5, Marvelous Designer). 3D modeling became an essential skill that enriched my creative approach, opening up new perspectives.
Today, I wear many hats , which allows me to approach each project with both a comprehensive and precise vision. Whether it's creating a bespoke visual identity, illustrating unique concepts, or designing impactful visuals, my goal remains the same: to offer solutions that are aesthetically pleasing, strategic, and tailored to my clients' specific needs . My experience has taught me to adapt quickly, understand the challenges of each project, and collaborate closely to transform ideas into reality.
